Military Veteran's Recognition Ministry

Mission:

To remember and honor stewards of St. Nicholas SErbian Eastern Orthodox Church and the former Holy Annunciation Macedonian-Bulgarian Orthodox Church who have served, or are serving, in the United States Military and National Guard.

 

Objectives:

1. Remember and honor our stewards on Veterans' Day and Memorial Day with vigil lamps, pomeni, and/or parastos.

2. Offer assistance to our stewards in registering names of family members on the United States World War II Registry and related official registries for other wars.

3. Provide all active duty service men and women, reservists and veterans with a copy of the Orthodox Christian New Testament and Psalms.

4. Participate in the St. Nicholas Church Ministry Sunday.

 

Below, please find both honor roll lists for St. Nicholas and Holy Annunciation. These lists are current to the best of our knowledge as of February 8, 2015.  Please review the list and offer additions, corrections or other relevant changes, especially about the branch of service and whether a person is still living.  An asterisk (*) next to a person’s name denotes he/she has passed away.  If you have questions, additions, or changes please contact Beverly Yanich or a member of the Parish Council.  Thank you.
